The NYU x NYU / Stern program offers highly qualified and motivated NYU undergraduate students from the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Dentistry, Tandon School of Engineering, Global Liberal Studies, Gallatin School of Individualized Study, Stern School of Business, Rory Meyers College of Nursing, Silver School of Social Work, School of Professional Studies, Tisch School of the Arts, and Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development the opportunity to pursue their Full-Time 2 year MBA at NYU Stern within 2-5 years after graduation. This application is only for NYU undergraduate students applying to the NYU x NYU / Stern program. If you are applying to any of our other MBA program options (Full-time MBA, Andre Koo Tech MBA, Luxury & Retail MBA, Langone Part-time MBA or Dual Degree), you may not use this application.
The Admissions Committee takes great care in evaluating each application and appreciates the time you dedicate to the application process. Our admissions process is holistic and highly personalized.This application is meant to be completed in one sitting. Applicants who are applying prior to the completion of their undergraduate degree must have earned the required GPA of 3.50 at the time of graduation to be eligible for the NYU x NYU program. The final cumulative GPA must meet the minimum requirement without rounding up.
If your final cumulative GPA is below the required 3.50, you will not be considered for this program and your application will be made ineligible.
If invited to interview, interviews are conducted virtually.
If you are admitted and plan to enroll, NYU Stern or its agent may conduct a background check on your credentials, and you will be responsible for the fee of this service.
If you are admitted and plan to enroll, you will be required to submit an official copy of all academic transcripts and proof of degree conferral prior to enrollment.
If you are admitted to the NYU x NYU / Stern program, you are expected to gain 2-5 years of valuable work experience post-graduation in related fields prior to enrolling at Stern, and maintain regular contact with the NYU Stern MBA Admissions Office prior to their enrollment at Stern.

An undergraduate degree from an eligible NYU undergraduate school is required to enroll in the MBA program at NYU Stern through the NYU x NYU / Stern program. NYU Stern requires a self-reported or scanned transcript from each institution you have attended for the online application. Do not send paper/official copies of your transcripts to NYU Stern at this time. If you are admitted, you will be required to provide official copies of your transcript(s) and proof of degree conferral prior to enrollment. There are two options for submitting an unofficial transcript: 1. Upload a scanned copy 2. Complete and upload the Self-Reported Transcript Form below Your self-reported and official transcripts will be verified. It is strongly recommended that you use your official transcript as a reference when submitting a self-reported transcript. The Admissions Committee reserves the right to withdraw an offer of admission at any time, prior to or after enrolling, if there are any discrepancies between the scanned/self-reported transcript and the official transcript.
International Applicants You must use the Self-Reported Transcript Form if your original transcript is not in English.
Instructions for Using the Self-Reported Transcript Form
List the name and course number of each course exactly as it appears on your official transcript. If your transcript is not in English, provide an accurate English translation of the course title.
List the grade or mark for each course exactly as it appears on your official transcript. Do not reinterpret grades or convert grades to a different scale.
Include courses taken that do not contribute to your overall score/grade (e.g. classes that were dropped, withdrawn from, incomplete, taken pass/fail, taken more than once, etc.)
Carefully match the courses taken with the appropriate semester/term dates, exactly as they appear on your official transcript. Include terms for any summer, winter, transfer, exchange, or study abroad courses.
If you are in the process of completing a degree, please include the names of any courses in which you are currently enrolled and note them as "in progress."
Self-Reported Transcript Form
Quantitative preparation is key for performance in MBA core requirements. All quantitative courses and grades on your undergraduate transcript will be carefully reviewed as part of the admissions process. These courses include but are not limited to: math, calculus, statistics, financial accounting, econometrics. If you have not taken quantitative courses at NYU, you may consider optionally providing a standardized test score to demonstrate quantitative proficiency. Please note that for some candidates without a quantitative background, a strong test score can strengthen their candidacy. The application fee to the NYU x NYU / Stern program will be waived for all applicants who meet the eligibility criteria.
